American Platinum Eagles are the first platinum coins to be issued by the U.S. Mint and are among the Mint's most successful new releases. Bearing the motifs of a handsome eagle and Lady Liberty, the coins celebrate the eternal American values of freedom, pride and dignity. In each of its issued sizes (1, 1/2, 1/4 and 1/10 oz), the coin's weight and content are guaranteed by the Government of the United States of America.

Minted between 1988 and 2002 by the Royal Canadian Mint, this bullion coin has legal tender status in Canada and is struck in .9995 fine platinum. Australia was the first major nation in modern times to announce its intention to produce an ounce-denominated platinum coin issue and since its first year of issue, the Australian Koala platinum coins have remained a leader in world investment coin markets. Each Koala is beautifully designed and extensively frosted, for a luminous brillance not found on other platinum bullion coins.
